
Chris Brown founded Conproco in 1975 and, over the next 40 years, grew it into a pioneer and thought leader in the masonry and concrete repair industry. Chris’s innovation changed the way contractors were able to color match and purchase repair products.
In 2024, Chris made the decision to seek a new owner for Conproco with the resources and geographic reach to take his innovative product set to a national scale. Highland was entrusted to help Chris evaluate his options and ultimately allow him to choose the right partner for Conproco—one that would take care of his valued employees and provide additional growth opportunities for the company as well as the team.
The decision to sell my company after 50 years was difficult and emotional. Finding the right firm to represent the sale of the company was critical. Choosing that firm was easy.
